Documents
General: passport (6+ months validity recommended); one colour photo (head 35–45mm, within 6 months, plain white background); application form No.17; visas/entry stamps of OECD countries in the last 5 years (if any).
Employed: original Certificate of Employment (position, start date, salary, company address, HR landline + email); original bank certificate (incl. 6-month average daily balance); ITR or Form 2316.
Self-employed / business: SEC or DTI registration + Mayor's Permit; bank certificate + last 3 months' statements; ITR or Form 2316.
Processing & fees
Usually 5–7 working days; stays ≤59 days are visa-fee-free.
🇨🇳 Note for Chinese passport holders — Korea is the strictest
Philippine passport holders apply directly. Chinese passport holders must hold a long-term Philippine residence visa (marriage / work / student / SRRV retirement / permanent, etc.) and have lived in the Philippines continuously for 2+ years to apply in Manila; tourist / 9A short-stay holders are not accepted and must apply from China. Submit ACR I-Card + long-term visa + entry stamps.
