Application Requirements (Special Investor's Resident Visa)
1. All foreign citizens (except citizens of countries that do not have diplomatic relations with the Philippines and those restricted Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) classification) are eligible to participate in this program.
2. Must be 21 years of age or older.
3. The applicant's spouse and children (unmarried individuals under the age of 21)
4. Transfer funds to a bank designated by Board of Investments (BOI) in the Philippines to open an account and deposit US$75,000, which will then be used for investing in stocks or companies.
Investment projects
1. Establish a new company.
2. Invest in an established company.
3. Purchase shares of companies listed on stock exchanges.
Processing time: Initial document preparation takes about 1 month, entry approval and trial period takes 2-3 months, permanent residency visa takes 1-2 months.
Required materials: 1. Original passport
2. NBI clearance notarization (required for applicants aged 16 and above);
3. Marriage certificate notarization & authentication (if spouse is included);
4. notarization & authentication of children's birth certificates (if accompanying children);
5. Six 1x1-inch photos and twelve 2x2-inch photos.
6. medical exam report (medical exam within the Philippines);
7. Philippine National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) NBI clearance;
8. Philippine tourist visa;
*All applicants aged 16 and over must provide NBI clearance issued by their local police department and notarized; passport, visa, and notarization & authentication fees are not included in the service fee.

Application Process
Step 1: Preparation of documents and materials
Step 2: Arrive in the country, open a bank account, take medical exam, and complete other preliminary preparations. Transfer $75,100 USD.
Step 3: Apply for a temporary investment visa, which takes approximately one month.
Step 4: Open an account with a securities company and confirm with the stock fund manager which stocks to purchase.
Step 5: Apply to Board of Investments (BOI) to reinvest your savings and purchase stocks.
Step 6: Board of Investments (BOI) interview, photo and fingerprinting, and collection of temporary investment residence card.
Step 7: One month after the investment is completed, apply for a permanent visa, which takes about one month. Green cards are renewed every three years.
